Sessions are tailored to each individual's needs and likes. Prior to swimming, we will go over your dog's medical history. If you have been referred by a vet, we will also go over your veterinary release form stating that your vet agrees that swimming is safe and beneficial for your canine friend. Sessions are generally 30 minutes, unless your dog is very athletic and would like to swim for an hour. Frequency of swims is determined by each pup's condition; twice weekly is most commonly recommended. Each session will have many rest periods to assess how your dog is doing. These rest periods will be in the pool, where your friend will be massaged and given TLC. You can sit on our cozy benches or cushions around the pool and watch the swim session. Your feedback is integral to structuring the program that will work best for your pup, once we have all of the medical records and vet's directions.
